READ THIS FIRST-- Forum Rules And How-To

Post  Admin on Sat Nov 14, 2009 7:47 am

Hello, and welcome to the Menstrual Cup discussion forum. Please read through these rules very carefully, to make participating in this forum as pleasant as possible for everyone. You must be a registered member, to participate in any discussions in this forum. To become a member, please click “Register” at the top of the page, and follow the prompts.

There is no posting limit here, as long as your posts are genuine (not spam or trolling), in the appropriate thread, and the numbers are within reason. The moderator (screen names “Admin” and “Melissa569”) cannot be here at all times, but the forum will be checked daily for new posts and any questions or problems. Also, we depend partially on the keen eye of members to help keep the forum as friendly as possible. So if you have any concerns, problems or questions, please feel free to contact the moderator.

1. No spamming, trolling, or inappropriate content. This includes, but is not limited to:

* Advertisements of any kind (unless you have permission from the moderator).
* Pornographic or other offensive content.
* Insults, or posting deliberately with the intention of “getting a rise” out of people (known as "trolling").
* Links to web pages containing any of the above (again, unless you have permission).

2. Be kind and courteous to ALL members. If you feel that someone is being rude or disrespectful to you, please tell the moderator, and a warning will be issued to that person. Do not respond/reply to their post, or post your own topic about them.

3. Please report abusive behavior. If you happen to see a member who is not complying with the rules, report it to the moderator straight away, so it can be dealt with appropriately, in a timely fashion. Do not respond to that person directly.

4. Post in the appropriate thread. For example, do not post about activism in the “photos” area, or vise-versa. If you post outside the appropriate thread, your post will be moved to the correct thread (or deleted if it does not comply with the rules).

5. Try to write related titles for your topic. Please include some direct details as to the nature of your post, in the title. This helps users to find the post more easily in the search feature.

6. If you are unsure where to post, simply post in General Discussion. The moderator may move your post to a more suitable thread, if one can be found. Or you can simply ask the moderator ahead of time.

7. If you are unsure of weather or not the topic you want to post is allowed or appropriate, please contact the moderator before posting.

8. No double-posting, please. Multiple posts will be deleted, until there is only one of them, in the appropriate thread.

9. No copying or uploading material that you do not have the rights to, unless you have permission from the owner. This does not inlcude links or codes to appropriate photos, videos and websites (unless the owner asks you not to post them here). If someone here is posting content that you own without your permission, please contact the moderator.

** Any members who do not comply with the rules, will be issued a warning, and the offensive topic (if any) will be deleted. Repeat offenders will be banned from the forum.

Thank you, and have fun posting here!
