If your cup is turning nasty brown, all you have to do is soak it in hydrogen peroxide and it will come clean again. I got a small insulated food container and use it specifically for soaking my cups. The longer you soak them, the cleaner they get. I have soaked mine for days to weeks and it looks like new now!
