Green Donna

The Green Donna is only available in Brazil although there was a post recently on LiveJournal about it's similarity to the Lunette. http://community.livejournal.com/menstrual_cups/2150799.html You can see that Lunette posted a comment saying that Green Donna copied their design. Lunette have told me that if I try and sell it I face legal action so I won't be selling the Green Donna.

One plus side of this interesting legal situation (I went and read the comment Lunette left on the LJ community) is that if certain cup companies are being illegally imitated, perhaps this is an indication that cups are becoming more popular. That's a good thing, maybe? xP Although I must say, it is unfortunate that some companies operate so underhandedly...

I've decided not to take samples from companies that I suspect could potentially be producing illegal coppies. I just feel like its better to remain respectable witht he original companies. I understand that a few people dealt with them before they knew about the legal issues, and that's alright, they didn't know. But now that I know, I won't be persuing this one, or Iriscup.

Hmmmm... I understand, though it would be nice for someone to do a comparison video so that people can become more aware about what Green Donna and Iris are doing. Still, good to know... Yeah, I think cups are starting to get a bit more popular.

Well, I suppose the only way I would take a sample, or a donation, is if Ladycup or Lunette knew about it ahead of time, and I would offer them comparisons if they needed them.

If this situation changes I will let you know.
