New Cup User!

I decided to make the change to a cup when I was researching moving into a house with a septic tank. I found not only information on why you shouldn't flush tampons, but also on the large amount of waste generated by disposable products and the toxins that I am exposed to with tampons. I'm still in my first cycle since purchase, and I'm not 100% comfortable, but so far the advantages are easy to see and I think practice will help with the disadvantages (like why the stem pokes me some days).
