Menstrual cup activism in Spain
Hi! I'm new at this forum and my English is not good at all... Well, we'd like to share with you our activity from 3 years ago. We knew menstrual cups (Mooncup) and began to promote them in general. Later, we chose that brand to promote, sell and distribute it in Spain, in a very small scale. There is a web specifically related to menstrual cups in Spanish (at that moment there were not too much info in Spanish): http://redcopadeluna.webnode.com/
We've included both official information and our points of view about some matters specially related to our previous and present activism: conscious consumption, environmental, sustainability, social justice and that kind of social movements. In concrete, we maintain a forum in contact with Mooncup, translating queries (Spanish-English-Spanish).
Some months ago, we have launched a new project that include menstrual cups together with publications about mentioned issues: http://planetafinito.org/
Now we're trying to promote menstrual cups in Spain with more effort (medium scale?), specially in our next fields. We've chosen Mooncup freely because of its holistic or integral policy on ethics and environmental, and located-localized production in South UK, near Spain, at least more than other brands with known or unknown information about this matter. We think other brands are less coherent-consistent, in example about use of oil-made products (package), global transport of menstrual cups and raw materials (Asia or America, according to an European context), transparency on information and so.
Congratulations for the work with this amazing web!

Thank you for the information! We do have some members here and some unregistered visitors from Spain, so this is good for them to see.

Hi and thanks. Maybe you could try with an online translator, as I've just made for the first time with our website. It's not perfect English, but is more or less readable or understable. Try http://translate.google.com/translate?js=n&prev=_t&hl=es&ie=UTF-8&layout=2&eotf=1&sl=es&tl=en&u=http%3A%2F%2Fredcopadeluna.webnode.com%2F or simply http://translate.google.com/
Specific section related to this post would be "Por qué preferimos Mooncup" ("Why we prefer Mooncup"). "Red Copa de Luna" means: red=network, copa de luna=translation of the word "mooncup".

Hello Sergio
This is a great place, especially para vosotr@s, claro .
About the name of your site, what is nice too is that red also means rojo eh ;-D.
Indeed, the Mooncup company always seemed to be a cool & faithful team.
Your "Por qué escogemos Mooncup" section is very instructive, rich !
As you wrote it, the Moon was the first cup made of medical grade silicone...
I also do like "Recursos propios" _ (and we find the insights in both Spanish and English.. )
Cheers o salud

Re: Menstrual cup activism in Spain
It's true I hadn't realized about colour meaning of the Spanish&English word "red" in this specific menstrual context...
Thanks for your opinions, we appreciate them. Because of this forum, we've just included a link for online translation at home page. In fact, there are useful criteria for whatever place in the world!
