This is my small yuuki in the new package design. I think the new packaging is a lot prettier than the old, more inviting and feminine. The cup has a hallow stem which i hear is a new think for yukki. It is very soft and flexible.

Interesting, I wonder why they changed the design of the stem? Hm.

And I agree, the new packaging is much better than the previous design.

Wow, I love the packaging! It's so earthy and green... so much better!

Don't know hwy they changed the stem. The first ones were solid, but mine and this one are both hallow...

I just wonder what benefit the hallow stem offers. I'm sure they had a reason, it doesn't seem like an arbitrary alteration. I'm tempted to email the company and ask them. xD I wonder if they'd respond to me...

The only thing I can think of is that a ROUND solid stem (the other solids are flat and thinner) would be thicker, and maybe too stiff or rigid for some people. I'm not sure though Smile

I guess that could be one benefit of the hollow stem, I didn't really consider how it would affect comfort.. though I wonder if the solid stems were thinner or the same girth? Some food for thought, I suppose. Razz

Good point, I'm not sure. I saw a picture of one with a solid stem on purple obsidian's wordpress, she says she liked it, but others had complaints. Maybe they should keep one of each Smile

My hollow stem broke off last year or so! I wish they would have made it differently. It still works though, it's just hard to get a hold of.
